CESTOVATEĽ, the monthly magazine is intended to serve both professionals in tourism as well as any ordinary potential travellers, holiday makers.

The magazine is distributed straight to subscribers who amount to about 4.500 today. Professionals – subscribers to the magazine amount to approximately 2.000. Among them, there are about 650 travel agencies, including branch-offices, hotels, boarding houses, restaurants, district and community authorities, but also teachers, students of hotel schools and academies. Other readers, potential travellers, amount to further 5000. The magazine Cestovateľ is not distributed in Slovakia only, but also in Czech republic. It is also possible to prepay electronic form of the magazine and read it all over the world through the internet.

In addition to direct mailing the CESTOVATEĽ magazine has been distributed through supermarkets, book stalls, MEDIAPRINT-KAPA and other smaller distributors, including approximately 50 petrol stations throughout Slovakia, but also throughout Czech republic. Magazine CESTOVATEĽ is also offered to tourists on the board of aeroplanes and buses with Slovak tourists. Each issue of the magazine has its target and it is available for many people on many different places.

The CESTOVATEĽ magazine brings ample coverage of most frequently visited centres of tourism in European countries by our tourists, in particular. Obviously, it brings most interesting descriptions pertaining to travelling to other countries little know to our people, as well. Adequate coverage of separate regions of Slovakia is also included.

Other items included are comments on behalf of tourist centres, interviews given by personalities in tourism from various countries.

Magazine CESTOVATEĽ influence tourism market in Slovakia and his editor in chief is holder of appreciation Person of the year 2007 in tourism, which was given to him by minister of economy of Slovakia and general director of the company Incheba a.s. The CESTOVATEĽ magazine co-operate with Slovak Agency for Tourism, Slovak Association of Travel Agencies and other organisations involved in this business area.

Magazine itself is regarded as the most significant medium in the field on the Slovak market.
